One day from life of local church Lomonosov
Today I want to tell you about my visit to one local church where we have special worship which have our churches at last Sunday of August on the eve of the beginning of new learning year. This church is located on the coast of Finnish Gulf at little city Lomonosov. This church is one from four churches which take part at a realization of the project for children and youth. Only this church from those four churches has her Home of Prayer and therefore she is a base for most part of our joint activities.
This Home of Prayer. (Today our regional association has 43 churches. Only 16 churches have their homes of prayer. This building is considered big between houses of Russian communities.)
This is me (and from right to left), the pastor Andrew and two deacons.
This is a hall for worship.
I used at this day for my sermon the verse from John 8:12 (and additionally Mt 5:14-16).
Chorus group praises the Lord.
Children take part at worship. They make short scenes and sing a psalm.
Brothers bless children and youth to new learning year. Our prayer is also for all teachers, parents and schools.
I am with a group of children where I help a teacher of this group during year. (On the picture she stays the right from me with little girl.)
I am with a group of youth which take active participation at the project of “Gulf” (The project of four churches).
This church gives brotherly greetings and thanks for prayers and support of our ministry. Brothers from Kentucky visited this church at 2010 and also in the past.
We ask you remember us and our ministry at your daily prayers or at special prayers when you and your churches pray for spiritual waking up nations of the world.
With Christ’s love and God’s blessings of you, your families and ministries, sincerely,
